In this home theater our customer wanted to integrate the new Mcintosh MX170 A/V Processor in their preexisting Bowers & Wilkins 5.1 surround sound system. The MX170 utilizes “Room Perfect” to calibrate the room acoustics via a microphone. Once finished, the calibration microphone is removed leaving the speakers sounding their absolute best!

As one might expect…this system sounds absolutely amazing!!!

I can’t stand walking into a store and getting hammered by salesmen ONLY interested in pushing highest end products and making that extra buck.

That said, this was the best showroom experience I’ve had in quite a while.

T.J. was fantastic and took the time to walk me through all my questions and concerns.

I had no intentions on purchasing when I walked in the door, but the center channel I was interested in sounded so great, and the price was so right(and lower than online prices), I couldn’t pass it up.

I plan on becoming a long time, repeat customer.

Very positive experience shopping for speakers. We drove two hours to get to the store and listen to some speakers. We were provided with the expert advice and full attention of a sales person whenever we needed, and were allowed all the time we needed to make a decision. It was a lot of time, because it was a big decision

They even used the same amp we have at home to run all the speakers!

With all the support and the time to consider, we felt totally confident in our purchase. It has been several months now (5? 6?) and we are still as excited by the awesome speakers as were when they first came home.

Recently I decided to upgrade and enhance my current audio system and television. I went on all the forums, read all the reviews, visited Best Buy Magnolia 4 times and I went down twice to hi end shops in Atlanta. Everyone I spoke with was A) either confusing and just trying to sell me. B) Confused and just trying to confuse me. C) Knew absolutely nothing about the difference between the Sony 85 inch 900 series VS the Samsung 82 inch QLED Q8FN . Or all of the above.

Then (Tim my AV Guy) a friend told me to go see John/Scott and TJ at HiFi Buys. Being knowledgeable is one thing. Being knowledgeable, understanding and able to convey their knowledge in a helpful manner is another. I cannot express how amazing the experience I had at HiFi Buys was. John answered all my questions and put up with me for 4 visits. Never once tried to ” sell ” me but only to ” assist ” in what I was trying to accomplish. I purchased the 85 inch Sony 900 series along with several other items I had researched for weeks.

Very OCD I am. Their prices were better, their knowledge light years ahead of the others, their courtesy was like a Ritz Carlton! I was amazed!!
